ISB Hosts an Unforgettable World Scholar’s Cup Local Round

On 24th and 25th March, ISB proudly hosted the World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) Local Round in Bucharest, bringing together twelve schools and over 300 participants for an exciting two-day academic competition. This globally recognised event challenged students in four main categories: Debate, Scholar’s Challenge, Collaborative Writing, and the Scholar’s Bowl.

The competition kicked off with an inspiring Opening Ceremony, setting the stage for an intense but friendly academic battle. Throughout the event, students showcased their knowledge, critical thinking, and teamwork skills, engaging in lively debates, solving complex multiple-choice challenges, crafting compelling written responses, and demonstrating their quick thinking in the Scholar’s Bowl.

The energy, enthusiasm, and dedication displayed by all participants were truly remarkable. The event concluded with a grand Closing Ceremony, where outstanding teams and individuals were recognised and celebrated with medals, trophies, and special awards. Beyond the competition, students had the opportunity to build friendships, exchange ideas, and experience the joy of learning together.

A huge congratulations to all our scholars for their hard work and achievements! We also extend our gratitude to the teachers, judges, and volunteers who made this event a great success. We look forward to seeing our teams represent ISB in the next rounds of the World Scholar’s Cup journey!
