International School of Bucharest is a not-for-profit private international school registered as a subsidiary of Lumina Foundation (Fundatia Lumina Institutii de Invatamant), under Romanian Law.
The ISB Board appoints a Director who is responsible for the direct control and running of the school. General policy is decided by the School’s Senior Leadership Team. Financial management is carried out by Lumina Foundation.

Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
The Director, Head of Schools, Deputy Heads and Key Stage Coordinators, DSL, Head of Enrichment, Head of Character Education and IB Coordinator comprise the SLT. The Director is the head of the SLT and reports to the Board.
