This year’s IGCSE results have given our whole school community much to celebrate. We are incredibly proud of the achievements of our students and of the determination, commitment and resilience they have shown throughout their studies.
At the International School of Bucharest, we are committed to providing our students with opportunities that reflect their individual strengths, interests and aspirations. Offering a broad range of 22 IGCSE subjects allows our students to make choices that best support their interests and future ambitions. Such a wide and ambitious programme may sometimes appear overwhelming, both in its scope and in the level of organisation and dedication it requires. However, seeing our students rise to the challenge and achieve so much has made every effort worthwhile.
Their achievements are a powerful reminder of why we invest so much in creating a rich and diverse academic experience. Our students have responded to the opportunities and challenges presented to them with commitment and determination, and their results are a wonderful reflection of the effort and dedication they have shown throughout their learning journey.
We are particularly delighted to recognise the outstanding achievements of our students. Their success reflects years of learning, perseverance and a genuine commitment to doing their best. Each student should feel enormously proud of what they have accomplished.
These results represent far more than examination outcomes. They show that our students have developed a strong academic foundation as they prepare for the challenges and opportunities of the IB Diploma Programme. The knowledge, skills and confidence they have gained during their IGCSE years will serve them well as they move forward.
Our students deserve tremendous credit for these achievements. Their results are a reflection of their hard work, perseverance and willingness to challenge themselves throughout their learning journey. At the same time, these accomplishments have been supported by the dedication and expertise of our teachers, who have guided and encouraged our students at every stage, and by our parents, whose constant encouragement and partnership have played such an important role. We are fortunate to have a school community in which students, teachers and families work together with a shared commitment to helping every young person reach their full potential.
As our students take the next step in their education, we do so with great confidence in their potential. The academic foundation they have built will provide an excellent starting point for the IB Diploma Programme. Their future success will continue to be shaped by the effort, curiosity and determination they bring to each new challenge.
I have no doubt that our students will continue to excel in their studies. With their commitment, the guidance of their teachers and the continued support of their families, they are well placed to make the most of the opportunities ahead.
