FirSTep Gala 2025 Celebrates Young Innovators

What better way to kick off Science Week than with the FirSTep Gala and the Destination Imagination Challenge—two events dedicated to tackling science-focused topics in creative and inspiring ways?

On May 17th, the stage of Auditorium Pallady was filled with excitement, innovation, and celebration as the FirSTep Gala honored a new generation of bright young minds. The event brought together students, educators, parents from many schools in Romania but also from Bulgaria.

The highlight of the evening was the awarding of bronze, silver, and gold medals to students who excelled in their FirSTep journeys.

In a special showcase segment, the gold medalists had an exhibition dedicated to their projects, all of them based on the UN SDGs. The event highlighted the importance of nurturing young talent and empowering students to explore science, technology, and creative problem-solving from an early age.

Congratulations to all the winners!
