30 Years. One Community. A Story Still Unfolding.
As the International School of Bucharest celebrates its’ 30th anniversary, Insight Magazine Summer 2026 offers a beautiful snapshot of what those three decades have come to mean: a community in motion, always learning, growing and looking ahead.
Open its’ pages and you can almost walk through the school year. You meet little explorers discovering minibeasts, young scientists testing forces and magnets, budding entrepreneurs turning ideas into action, and students finding their voices through debate, music, art, sport and leadership. You see curiosity becoming confidence, challenges becoming resilience, and classroom lessons becoming opportunities to make a difference.
And then, suddenly, you arrive at the other end of the journey: the Class of 2026, celebrating outstanding IB results and preparing to take their next steps at universities across the world. Their stories remind us that education is not measured only in grades or destinations, but in the people students become along the way.
Thirty years ago, a story began. Today, it continues to unfold—one student, one discovery, one achievement at a time.
We invite you to explore the 26th issue of Insight Magazinehere and discover the stories, achievements and moments that have shaped another remarkable year at ISB.
