As we welcome you to the January 2026 edition of Insight Magazine, we begin a new term with gratitude, curiosity, and an unwavering belief in the power of our community to shape possibility. This issue reflects the heart of the International School of Bucharest — a place where every day offers a chance to learn, grow, and contribute with purpose.
Across these pages you will find stories that echo our HERO values — Honesty, Empathy, Responsibility, and Open-mindedness — lived out in classrooms, on playgrounds, in service projects, on stages and fields, and through quiet acts of leadership. From academic achievements and creative expression to community engagement and moments of connection, this edition celebrates the diverse talents and shared spirit that define us as a school community.
But Insight is more than a record of events; it’s a portrait of how we learn from one another and how our collective experiences shape who we are becoming. These stories remind us that education is not just about outcomes, but about the courage to try, the resilience to persevere, and the empathy to support one another.
To the students, families, staff, and partners who make this community thrive: thank you for your contributions, your energy, and your belief in what we can achieve together. May this issue inspire you to reflect, to imagine, and to step into 2026 with confidence and joy.
Happy reading — and here’s to the year ahead.
