We are happy to share with our community that the prestigious Council of International Schools (CIS) renewed our accreditation. Our School has been fully accredited by CIS since August 2012. ISB is also the first CIE Exam centre of Romania in order to run IGCSE examinations, starting 2001.

“The award of CIS accreditation shows that the International School of Bucharest has achieved high standards of professional performance in international education and has a commitment to continuous improvement and that the school: is devoted to its mission and vision for students.”

“We are committed to providing a world-class education to our students as a school. To maintain the high-quality education at ISB, we collaborate with the Council of International Schools (CIS). CIS International Accreditation is a rigorous school-wide evaluative process that measures alignment with internationally benchmarked standards and provides guidance for continuous improvement. Through their achievement of these standards, CIS-Accredited schools have been verified as delivering high-quality international education focused on the development of knowledge, skills and attributes necessary to prepare students as global citizens. I am delighted to inform you that our school is re-accredited after the recent evaluation visit. I would like to thank all our stakeholders for their contribution and collaboration in improving teaching and learning at ISB. CIS accreditation is evidence of our education quality and provides unique opportunities to our students for university applications in more than 30 countries. You can find more about CIS accreditation here. “
